Shopping in Auckland

Auckland is the home of many of New Zealand’s top fashion designers. High Street, Chancery and Vulcan Lane host the boutiques of Karen Walker, Workshop, Zambesi and World, plus many other designers.

Inner city suburbs Ponsonby, Parnell and Newmarket are well known for their fashion shopping.

Auckland is also a good place to shop for unique arts and crafts. Large malls and outlet stores like St Lukes, Albany Westfield, Sylvia Park, Dress-Smart and Botany Downs are spread throughout the suburbs. There are also several markets that are great when shopping for fresh food, arts and crafts and clothing.
